Who – The Company:

What- The Role:

We are seeking an experienced consultant to build driver-based data models to support understanding of key inventory health metrics impacting fulfillment operations.

  • Analyze key inventory metrics (eg. inventory turnover and capacity utilization) to support data-driven decision-making
  • Perform SKU rationalization analysis to support with enhanced operational efficiency and cost reduction
  • Translate operational data into financial implications by developing dynamic models that link changes to key inventory metrics (e.g., units/carton, strategic allocations, new PO purchasing patterns,) to financial metrics (e.g., gross margin, storage costs, labor costs).
  • Present findings and model outputs clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • 6+ years of experience in building operational & financial modeling, preferably within inventory management and fulfillment
  • Strong understanding of key inventory health metrics
  • Exceptions Excel modeling skills are required; familiarity with Power BI, RMS/ WMS is a plus
    Ability to build and explain models that connect operational performance with P&L impact.
  • Strong and clear communication required.

What- The Role:

We are seeking an experienced consultant to analyze large data, uncover insights and identify opportunities in support of process improvement recommendations that deliver cost savings and DC processing efficiencies

  • Build returns and damages reporting to analyze key drivers and track historical trends (eg. return rates by channel, damages rates, top returned SKUs, trends by store)
  • Build dynamic models that quantify the financial impact of returns operations, including labor costs, transportation, refurbishing, restocking, write-offs, and liquidation
  • Analyze key DC return metrics (e.g., return rate, processing time, cost per unit returned, disposition path)
  • Develop scenario modeling to forecast P&L and DC capacity impacts based on return volumes by inventory grade, policy changes, or operational adjustments.
  • Work closely with returns operations, finance, and supply chain leadership to ensure models support business decisions and cost optimization strategies.
  • Provide clear, actionable insights and reporting to both operations teams and executive leadership.

Who- the Candidate: 

  • 6+ years of experience building operational & financial modeling, with a strong focus on distribution center operations and reverse logistics.
  • Strong understanding of returns processing workflows, including sorting, inspection, grading, refurbishing, and exit
  • Exceptions Excel modeling skills are required; familiarity with Power BI, RMS/ WMS is a plus
  • Ability to build and explain models that connect operational performance with P&L impact.

Global Inventory Planner – Retail & Costing

Join a global retail brand where your analytical skills will directly influence strategic decisions on costing and inventory planning.
 

Who – The Company:

What- The Role:

Reporting directly to the Global Inventory Planning Manager, this role will be responsible for analyzing key costing elements, including Duty, Freight, and FOB, identifying trends, and understanding variances against forecasts. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the cross-functional finance team, leveraging historical data and insights to provide actionable projections and forecasts for future trends. Additionally, the role will involve working closely with regional teams to review Sales & Receipts Average Unit Retail (AUR), analyzing historical trends and correlations to ensure alignment with forecasts while providing guidance and addressing any concerns.

  • Costing Analysis & Forecasting: Analyze key costing elements, including Duty, Freight, and FOB, to identify trends and assess variances against forecasts. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on these findings.
  • Costing Projections & Insights: Utilize historical data and collaborate with the cross-functional finance team to project future trends in costing. Effectively communicate these projections to stakeholders to support decision-making.
  • Sales & Receipts Analysis: Regularly review sales and receipts Average unit retail (AUR). Understand the historical relationship between these metrics and forecast projections to identify any gaps or opportunities.
  • Regional Average Unit Retail Projections: Collaborate with regional teams to review and validate future AUR projections. Identify any discrepancies or concerns and work with regional teams to address these issues. Actively highlight areas of concern and recommend adjustments as necessary.
  • Trend Analysis: Continuously monitor market and business trends related to average unit retail, costing, and inventory management. Analyze and report on key drivers of average unit retail and costing changes.
  • Reporting & Communication: Prepare and present regular reports on costing, AUR trends and Ad hoc analysis to the Global Planning Manager and senior leadership, providing actionable insights and recommendations.

Who- the Candidate: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in retail planning or costing analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive business decisions.
  • Proficient in Excel and Power BI, with the ability to effectively present data in PowerPoint.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

How much:

The Impact PM & Analyst will be responsible for implementing processes and tools, supporting the execution and project management of key Sustainable Business & Impact initiatives, and ensuring operational efficiency across the team. This role involves managing budgets, forecasting, coordinating key initiatives, and analyzing data to drive strategic decision-making and improve organizational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience in process development, project management, and stakeholder engagement and communications.
As an Impact PM & Analyst for the Sustainable Business & Impact function you will:

  • Optimize, document, and standardize operational processes and tools to enhance efficiency, scalability, and clarity across the SB&I function. This includes creating process maps, content trackers, and workback calendars to ensure consistent execution and project success.
  • Lead project management and coordination by developing detailed project plans, managing timelines, organizing working sessions, tracking deliverables, and aligning projects with business priorities. Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and provide regular status updates.
  • Coordinate working sessions with business partners, overseeing scheduling, preparation, and follow-up activities to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Manage operating calendar, coordinating key initiatives and meetings to align with business priorities and deadlines.
  • Support budget management by overseeing invoicing, tracking, and reconciling project budgets to ensure alignment with financial objectives and organizational priorities.
  • Lead forecasting and financial reporting, offering insights into budget performance, identifying risks, and recommending corrective actions to meet financial goals.
  • Support multi-year investment planning and forecasting by collaborating with cross-functional teams to prioritize programs, identify dependencies, and assess funding needs, ensuring alignment with the broader business strategy.
  • Monitor operating plan and project performance against budget milestones, KPIs, and metrics, and develop executive-level reports and presentations that provide actionable insights to ensure projects stay on track and meet financial targets.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data from multiple sources to uncover insights, identify patterns, and create actionable steps that drive business optimization and improve decision-making.

 

Who- the Candidate: 

  • BA/BS degree in business, finance, operations, engineering, or related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in management consulting, accounting, finance, program management or similar operations role
  • Experience in financial analysis, business case development, and budget management.
  • Proven ability to operationalize processes and manage large portfolios, balancing multiple budgets.
  • Strong project management skills with experience in program management and coordinating initiatives.
  • Self-motivated, passionate, detail-oriented multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is comfortable navigating ambiguity and adjusting to conflicting goals.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause identification skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, solve problems creatively, and develop actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, written, and verbal) with the ability to influence and collaborate.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills; PowerPoint expertise is a plus.

Who- the Company: 

Our client is a successful and stable company that is headquartered in Alberta and has operations across Canada. The company already has presence in BC but is aiming to improve the brand’s visibility and the overall revenues in BC in the coming years. The company is broadly speaking in the health & wellness sector.

What- the Role:

Our client seeking a new Director of Operations for the British Columbia region, which currently totals over 250 people working in around 20 offices/operational sites. The Director will report into a Vice President of Operations and will have 2 to 4 direct reports on their team. The new Director will play a pivotal role in leading operational excellence across multiple offices within their area. The Director will focus on enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty, increasing employee engagement, attracting new top talent to the company, and generally leading overall operational business performance and business development in the BC region. The Director of Operations will be both hands-on and strategic, ensuring that daily activities of the BC team are aligned with the company’s vision and growth plans.

Who- the Candidate:

We are looking for an individual with at least 10 years of progressive experience in operations and team leadership. Qualified candidates will be well-networked and well-established in British Columbia, with a deep understanding of the unique business landscape and business culture in BC.  Experience in retail, hospitality, health & wellness, or another service-oriented and predominantly B2C sector is required. MBA or other qualifications such as PMP is an asset. Qualified candidates for this role will welcome challenges and be able to spearhead change management and positive transformation. We are looking for a new Director of Operations who can analyze the business, identify areas of opportunity and address areas of weakness, and be able to work with their team to strategically deliver. This company is looking to grow their presence and revenues in BC in the coming years and this Director of Operations will play a key role in that growth!  The Director will have opportunity to potentially develop in future to Vice-President level, based on performance and results.
 

How Much:

Competitive base salary commensurate with level of skills, experience, and education, likely in the range of $100,000 to $130,000, plus a robust performance-based bonus. Where:

HYBRID / REMOTE WITHIN BC/ BUSINESS TRAVEL. Based in British Columbia- preferably based in the Lower Mainland, although possibly this Director can be based elsewhere in BC if they are very mobile and can easily get to Greater Vancouver on a few days’ notice. This role will involve at least a couple business trips a quarter within BC (the Interior, the Island, etc.), and also a couple trips annually to the HQ in Alberta or to visit other operations across the country.
