Export Sales and Operations Coordinator

The company offers innovative products aimed at solving some of the most complex construction and environmental challenges. Recently, it was acquired by a leading private equity firm with a history of enhancing and growing companies across various sectors. This acquisition will position the company for continued expansion through strategic investments and acquisitions.

What – The Role:
As the Export Sales and Operations Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting our global order- to-delivery process — ensuring accuracy, responsiveness, and operational efficiency. This role sits at the intersection of customer service, logistics, pricing, and inventory, helping deliver exceptional experiences to customers and partners in international markets as well as support internal sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

You’ll manage order entry, coordinate shipments across regions, and communicate directly with distributors to maintain smooth operations and accurate systems. You’ll also support the creation and maintenance of international price lists, assist with communicating pricing updates, and help ensure contract compliance with distributors. Your attention to detail will be essential in validating pricing within our ERP system and generating reports to support volume-based planning and distributor accountability.
In addition, you’ll contribute to inventory planning and warehouse coordination by monitoring global stock levels, analyzing trends, and supporting restocking decisions. Working closely with the VP, International and Regional VP, you’ll be a trusted partner in driving consistency, operational accuracy, and customer satisfaction. While based in Richmond, BC, occasional flexibility in working hours may be required to support international time zones and shipping needs.
 

Who – The Candidate:

Strong customer service, logistics and analytical skills in a manufacturing environment supporting inventory.
The successful candidate should have some of the following:

  • 3+ years of experience in international logistics, shipping, or export coordination.
  • 2+ years in customer service or order fulfillment, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Experience working with pricing, cost components, and inventory data to support operational decisions.
  • Strong working knowledge of international freight, export documentation, and customs regulations.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, especially in data entry and document preparation.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP/order management systems.
  • Professional and friendly communication style — written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal departments and external partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, logistics, supply chain, or a related field preferred.
  • Additional languages such as Spanish or French are an asset.

How Much – Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: $60-80,000 CAD, based on experience plus bonus.
  • Comprehensive health and dental benefits.
  • 3 weeks of vacation.

Where – Location & Work Environment:

The position is based in Richmond, requiring full-time in-office presence, there is free parking.
