What- the Role:  

We are seeking a new Analyst (Corporate Development & Strategy) who will undertake quantitative analysis to support the company’s position on potential investments, market opportunities, joint ventures, business partnerships, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), organic growth such as setting-up offices in new geographies, and ad hoc strategic initiatives. The Analyst will work alongside a few others in Corporate Development under the guidance of very impressive leadership. Responsibilities are diverse and will include complex market research, manipulation & maintenance of key economic models, due diligence work, negotiation support, business case preparation, cost/benefit analysis, and ad hoc financial modeling.

Who- the Candidate:

We are looking for highly analytical individuals who are business-minded, hands-on yet strategic, and who have the drive and talent to learn the company’s business inside-out. Detail-orientation and an analytical mindset are paramount in this role. Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders, including executive leadership, are essential. Our client has a high performing culture, and we are seeking a Corp Dev Analyst who can seamlessly integrate with this collaborative team and reciprocate help to colleagues. 

  • At least 2 years’ and ideally 4 years recent and relevant work experience, perhaps in investment banking, management consulting, or private equity. 
  • Must have a relevant designation or graduate degree such as CFA, CPA, or MBA. 
  • Highly proficient in Excel, with ability to build sophisticated financial models and create macros from scratch. Experience using a BI tool is an asset, as is experience working with DCF models. 
  • Experience in a large and complex global company is highly preferred.

What- The Role: 

The Associate Director, Procurement is a newly created role with the opportunity to lead a large and diverse team. You will provide comprehensive leadership, strategic planning and operational direction in the development of the Procurement function and practice. This position provides leadership in achieving the ongoing goals of the Procurement Modernization program, and will transform how our client buys and pays for goods and services by simplifying processes, improving service delivery, delivering value/savings, and embracing technology. You will be responsible for developing a cohesive team to support and realize the vision of Procurement Modernization, and instill the mindset of customer service, service delivery, and delivering value across the Procurement function. There are also a significant number of initiatives underway where Procurement will be either leading or engaged in exploring how they work with their Suppliers to further our Client’s objectives.

Who- The Candidate: 

Equipped with a minimum of 10 years of progressive procurement/supply chain management experience, the ideal candidate holds a SCMP designation and a master’s degree in a relevant discipline. A natural leader, with proven experience leading and driving a culture of best practices and continuous improvement, you possess sound supplier relationship and customer relationship management experience and are accustomed to developing and monitoring SLA performance. In addition, you have strong forecasting and planning skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated experience engaging, leading and working with teams and stakeholders with a focus on equity, diversity and inclusion and ensuring customer service excellence. Knowledge of Workday an added bonus.
