What- the Role:
The role is a hybrid between a client facing business consultant and a digital marketing strategist. On the business consultant side, you will be working directly with executives and teams in high tech industries such as cybersecurity and medical technology to help grow their business. You will ensure that their needs and concerns are addressed as effectively as possible in-turn building and maintaining a long-lasting relationship.

With respect to digital marketing, you’ll be responsible for developing, implementing and managing marketing campaigns that promote the client company and its products or services. You will work alongside the digital marketing team to strategize on how to enhance brand awareness within the digital space as well as driving website traffic and acquiring new leads and customers.  You will work on a range of campaigns that run the full gamut of the digital marketing playbook, including paid search and display, account based marketing, SEO, email and content marketing, which will be driven through marketing automation and CRM cloud technology.

Who- the Candidate:
We are seeking a well-rounded individual with experience in both, account management and a strong technical background in digital marketing.

  • A minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience gained in a similar role with account management responsibilities, ideally gained in an agency setting

  • Experience speaking with and listening to clients, being responsible for delivering projects on a deadline, and ability to juggle more than one project at a time.

  • Experience working within CRMs such as Salesforce, Zoho CRM, HubSpot, etc. would be considered an asset.

  • Ability to create and manage paid advertising campaigns in at least one or two major platforms (Google Search/Display, Facebook/IG, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)

  • Experience executing email marketing campaigns, some experience measuring campaign performance in Google Analytics, and a general comfort with learning new technologies rapidly

  • Ability to thrive in busy, multi-tasking environment

Our client’s office is located out of Victoria, BC, and while their preference is to hire locally, we are open to applicants across Canada as they offer fully remote work. Those who live in Victoria will also have access to their downtown office should you wish to have an office space to go to.

Who- the Company:
Our Client was established decades ago and is well-diversified in that they sell both B2B (business to business) and B2C (business to consumer), with happy customers across Canada including selling to many large companies that will be familiar to most candidates. The Company manufactures a high-quality consumer product. In the last couple years the organization has undertaken a major rejuvenation of the corporate culture which is ongoing. The Company has a supportive and fast-paced work environment, with a focus on their core values and giving back to the community.

What- the Role:
On behalf of our Client, SWIM is recruiting for a new Customer Experience Associate who will be joining a team of 10, and reporting directly into the Manager, Customer Service. There are two headcounts open on this team- one permanent (newly created role) and one 12-month contract (maternity leave contract).

The CEA is responsible for trouble-shooting issues and determining if the problem involves sales, servicing, and/or equipment. The CEA will also provide insight to customers with regards to promotions and new product offerings. This is mostly a business-to-business (B2B) role, and the Customer Experience Associate will be communicating with customers who are in management at restaurants and other businesses across Canada.

Who- the Candidate:
We’re seeking up & coming professionals who are reliable, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to produce good quality work. Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years of relevant customer service work experience, ideally including some B2B customer service. Good computer systems skills are important. We are looking for people with excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and a friendly team player attitude.
Please note this company has ongoing Covid safety precautions at the office and a Covid vaccination policy (2 shots).

SWIM has been engaged by this firm to help them in their search for a Marketing Director who will report into the COO and mentor and manage one direct report. In addition to developing and executing the firm’s marketing, business development and client services plan, the Marketing Director will collaborate across the firm to manage website content, lead the execution of social media campaigns, oversee the firm’s website including content creation, prepare and manage PR activities and communications for the firm and identify and make recommendations for firm’s participation in sponsorships, conferences etc., among other duties. Who- the Candidate:

Strong mentorship and coaching abilities are important, as is the ability to build cross-functional relationships with colleagues and with external stakeholders.
