Experience in the real estate sector is an asset, of course, but not at all required! Candidates will have at least two (2) years of relevant work experience. Experience with a complex, and multinational public company is an asset, as is experience in an agency or firm supporting multiple clients at once. 
  • Experience with various creative software and resources, such Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere, AfterEffects, and Photoshop, as well as WordPress for website maintenance. 
  • Photography (DSLR) and videography skills
  • Strong writing skills (creating new content, editing, proofreading, formatting, etc.)
  • Some exposure to UI and UX design is a significant asset.

Who- the Candidate:  

  • Degree in Graphic Design, or equivalent
  • Spatial or environmental design, architectural, interior design, 3d rendering training a major asset
  • 2-5 years minimum experience at a design agency and/or in-house design team

What- the Role: 

Reporting to the President, this position will lead and build out the Marketing and sales function for the organization as Director, Marketing & Sales.

Working with a fantastic leadership team, this role is strategic and involved in leading all aspects of sales and marketing. This includes: execution of sales centres, projects management of construction environments, going cycle to cycle, everything from marketing strategy to building a sales centre, interior design, marketing, hiring sales and leading it all. Leading project branding, partnering with third party vendors, corporate branding, digital media, print media, effective chat channels and some Asia marketing too. This is unique opportunity to build up sales functions from the ground up and lead all aspects of marketing too! 

Who- the Candidate: 

What you need:
  • 7-10+ years progressive marketing experience including 5+ years in the Vancouver real estate sector.
  • Relevant post-secondary education and degree (Business/Marketing, etc.).
  • Experience leading a significant transition and experience growing a team from the ground up is highly preferred. 
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Suite, Google Analytics, etc. 
  • Strong understanding of costing, margins, budgeting, and cash flow.
  • Proven success in analyzing financial information and business operations with positive bottom-line impact.
  • Phased multi-family and master planned community is an asset.
