Our client is a very well-established, well-known, and beloved Canadian company in the hospitality sector. What- the Role:

Our client is hiring for a new Office Manager who will take care of the day-to-day administrative operations of the corporate headquarters in Richmond. Tasks will vary and will include such things as vendor communications (security firm, property management, landscaping company, etc.), ordering office supplies, getting office equipment serviced, coordinating mail and couriers, taking the lead on in-office health & safety (including Covid protocols), issuing keys and fobs to new employees, and project managing the logistics of future office renos or office moves. 
The Office Manager/Administrative Assistant will report directly into the Director of Human Resources. This company has a corporate team that is diverse and close-knit. Before the pandemic, they had team lunches once a week and various events throughout the year.

Who- the Candidate:

We are looking for a proven administrative professional with at least 3 years and ideally 5+ years of relevant experience in office management & administrative assistance. Qualified candidates will be strong within the aforementioned areas of responsibility. The Office Manager will have strong computer skills, particularly within the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel).  Work experience in the fast-paced and high-change hospitality or retail sectors is a bonus, but not required! Relevant post-secondary education is certainly an asset. The successful candidate will be passionate about collaboration and teamwork. 

Where:

The corporate head office is in North-East Richmond, BC- close to the Costco. Free parking. While many employees are still working from home due to the pandemic, this role is entirely office-based, Monday to Friday, for obvious reasons!
