Modeling Expert – Inventory Health Reporting

What- The Role:
Our client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced modeling expert to lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of their inventory health and capacity reporting framework. This senior-level role will drive analytical rigor across their supply chain, enabling data-driven decisions that optimize inventory flow, minimize risk, and improve operational efficiency across their North America DC network.
- Build and maintain robust analytical models and reporting pipelines to monitor inventory performance and track historical trends (eg. Total and DC inventory turns, units-per-carton density in reserve racking, SKU count, inventory availability, etc.).
- Build scalable, self-serve dashboards in PowerBI that enable both high-level tracking and root cause diagnostics.
- Partner with cross-functional partners to align on key inventory segments and provide clear, actionable insights on top performing inventory to drive decision making.
- Leverage SQL, Python, and statistical forecasting techniques to create dynamic models and automate reporting workflows.
Who- the Candidate:
- 6+ years of experience in building operational & financial modeling, preferably within inventory management and fulfillment.
- Strong understanding of key inventory health metrics.
- Exceptions Excel modeling skills are required; familiarity with Power BI, RMS/ WMS is a plus.
Ability to build and explain models that connect operational performance with P&L impact. - Strong and clear communication required.
How much:
Competitive hourly wage in the range of $60-70/hr + 4% vacation pay, if incorporated, please discuss with Swim.
Where:
Vancouver, hybrid working conditions, 4 days onsite.
