What- the Role:
Our client hiring for a new Director of Sales who will lead a sales team(mix of internal and external sales reps and account managers)and who will report into the CEO & Founder.
This role involves a diverse scope of responsibilities including setting sales goals, building annual sales strategy and SWOT analysis with the CEO, analyzing existing sales KPIs and putting in place new KPIs, ongoing optimization of sales systems and tools, resolving unique or escalated issues, providing training and onboarding, etc. The Director will collaborate closely with leaders of other departments including marketing, product design, customer service, distribution & supply chain, and finance. Leading, mentoring, and inspiring a sales team, with some locally based and many distributed across Canada and the US.
Who- the Candidate:
We are seeking a well-rounded B2B sales professionalwith at least 10 years of progressive and relevant work experience, including at least 4 years in a senior people management capacity. We are looking for people with fantastic sales skills, knowledge, and intuition who can lead by example. The new Director will inspire their team to join them in setting an exciting and more successful vision for the company’s future and figuring out together how a new sales strategy is going to help the organization get there! We are looking for animal lovers, ideally people who have their own very much-loved dog or cat!
Sales Experience:
B2B sales
Retail and/or CPG sector
Multi-channel sales- mix of brick & mortar and ecommerce, but brick & mortar is most important
Multi-national sales- experience selling to businesses/customers across Canada and the US
Team Leadership:
Experience leading and mentoring a sales team of 5+ people
Experience leading a mix of internal sales representatives (employees earning salary + bonus) and external sales representatives (freelancers earning only commission) is highly preferred
Experience leading people across Canada and the US is highly preferred
Company & Sector Experience
Selling for a company that manufactures their own product is highly preferred (as opposed to 3rd party or distribution)
Prior exposure to the pet sector is of course an asset, but it’s not required. Most important is a true love of animals, especially dogs!
Working in a variety of company structures is very beneficial (small and large, start-up and mature, private and public, etc.)
Experience reporting into a C-suite Executive and/or President and/or Company Founder is preferred
Where:
Headquartered in Greater Vancouver (outside of Vancouver). Ideally the new Director will work full time in-office... or perhaps 4 days/week in-office and 1 day/week from-home (please discuss your ideal schedule with SWIM).
The office environment is busy and upbeat, with employees working side-by-side in corporate functions and production functions.

How Much:
On-target total annual earnings will be in the range of $150,000 to $200,000 (this represents total cash compensation, consisting of base salary plus bonuses).Base salary commensurate with sales leadership work experience, skills, and qualifications. You:
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:
Minimum 6 years of experience in enterprise sales experience, with direct experience selling software for industrial, operational, or asset-heavy customer segments.
Consistent track record closing net-new logos with $30K–$100K+ ACV deals through consultative, multi-stakeholder cycles.
Ability to quickly learn and have credible discussions about plant operations, SCADA/PLC systems, process optimization, and operational efficiency with engineering buyers.
Self-starter who builds pipeline independently through targeted outbound, networking, and referral cultivation (this is not an inbound-fed role).
Compensation:
Base salary: $120,000–$150,000 + variable (OTE: $180,000–$220,000). Uncapped commission structure with no tiers. Extended health and dental benefits, life insurance, and 4 weeks paid vacation included.
Where:
This role requires 1 day per week in office (Downtown Vancouver). For candidates outside the Lower Mainland of BC, 1 day per month in office is required. Candidates must be located and able to work in Canada.

We’re looking for a Parts Sales & Support Representative who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and values teamwork. Maintain accurate CRM records and follow up on open orders.

Process billing, invoicing, and parts warranty claims.

Who- the Candidate:
Requirements:
High school diploma.
2–3 years of customer service experience, preferably in industrial equipment or automotive sectors.
Legally authorized to work in Canada and must have a valid Class 5 BC driver’s license.
Must submit information for and pass an employment background check and drivers abstract.
Preferred Assets:
Red Seal Certification as a Partsperson or Heavy Duty Mechanic OR have completed parts technician level 1.
Knowledge of excavators, drilling rigs, piling rigs.
Experience with ERP systems, inventory management and Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams)
Familiarity and/or certification with warehouse equipment such as order pickers, and forklifts.
Supervisory and/or managerial experience.
Skills & Competencies
Understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret parts diagrams and technical documentation.
Strong customer service mindset with a sense of urgency.
Physically able to meet the requirements of the position (sitting, standing, walking, packing, driving/operating warehouse equipment, carrying objects/parts that are 50+ pounds etc.).
Team-oriented, Eagerness to learn and grow, self-starter, and humble—no task is beneath you.
High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
