What- The Role:

Our client is seeking a motivated and customer focused Outside Sales Representative to join their growing Parts division. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth through maintaining strong customer relationships, actively pursuing new business opportunities, and supporting both internal teams and vendor partners. The ideal candidate has solid HVAC industry knowledge, strong communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Customer & Business Development

  • Maintain and strengthen long-term relationships with existing customers for satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Identify, pursue, and close new HVAC business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive territory growth.

Sales Performance & Profitability

  • Drive revenue growth by achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Maintain gross profit margins through strategic quoting and negotiation.
  • Provide accurate quotes for HVAC equipment (heat pumps, mini splits, rooftop units).

Marketing & Sales Support

  • Support marketing strategies, campaigns, and promotions to increase visibility and market share.
  • Work with internal teams and support parts staff for a seamless customer experience.
  • Create proposals, pricing, reports, and presentations.
  • Set sales goals, track progress, and maintain CRM records.

Vendor & Product Management

  • Maintain vendor relationships for product knowledge, pricing, and support.
  • Stay current on industry trends and product developments.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Who- the Candidate: 

  • Proven 2-6 years of experience in HVAC sales, outside sales, or a related technical sales field.
  • Degree, diploma or equivalent education / experience in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred; HVAC certifications or technical knowledge is highly desired.
  • Proven ability to generate new business, grow existing accounts, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems and components, including key industry terminology and current trends.
  • Skilled negotiator with a customer-focused approach, fostering trust and lasting client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, strong interpersonal skills, and effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Self motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a dynamic schedule.
  • Experience collaborating with internal teams and vendor partners.
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel within assigned territories.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office tools.

How much:

$70,000-$90,000 + robust benefits package.

Where:

North Vancouver, BC, onsite daily with opportunity to work remote one day from home in the future.
