What- the Role:

On behalf of veritree, Swim Recruiting is conducting the recruitment for a well-rounded Product Marketing Manager (B2B SAAS) who will help contribute to the company’s growth trajectory.

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for product releases and planting project launches.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform product positioning and messaging.
  • Collaborate with the Product Team to understand product capabilities and translate them into compelling marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with Planting Partners and Operations to understand project opportunities, updates and outcomes, and translate them into compelling marketing materials.
  • Build content and train the sales team on messaging around new solutions, releases and projects.
  • Create and optimise marketing content, including case studies, webinars, and blog posts, to drive lead generation and customer engagement.
  • Work with the broader Marketing Team to develop and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive product awareness and adoption.
  • Analyze and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, using data to drive continuous improvement and optimization.
  • Work closely with the Revenue Team to develop sales enablement materials, such as presentations, product demos, and FAQs.
  • Research, build, and iterate approaches to the pricing of veritree’s various platform offerings for planting partners, resellers, and corporate partners.

Who- the Candidate:

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Product Marketing Manager with a strong background in go-to-market strategy, positioning, and product marketing to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for clearly articulating veritree’s differentiated value proposition in the nature tech space, helping internal teams and external partners understand not just what we do—but why it matters. You’ll lead the charge on launching new products, features, and planting projects, conducting market research, and collaborating closely with product, sales, and customer success to drive adoption and engagement.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of product marketing experience in the technology sector, preferably for a similar B2B SaaS company. Qualified folks for this role will have the proven ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including sales enablement. Proficiency with marketing automation tools and CRM systems such as HubSpot is required, as well as excellent analytical skills and a data-driven approach to product marketing. On behalf of veritree, Swim is looking for people who have experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing campaigns from concept to completion and who can measure marketing performance in various channels.

What- the Opportunity:

On behalf of our client, SWIM is looking a new Senior Communications Specialist. This is a project-based contract role with full-time hours. The initial contract term is currently set for 3 months, but could very well extend by several months, based on evolving business needs. The Sr Comms Specialist will work closely with a high-performance national marketing & communications team and will report directly into an impressive Senior Director.

The Communications Consultant will support a variety of corporate communications strategies, and will be accountable for developing new content, executive-level messaging, media relations, and acting as a key point of contact (for employees as well as media and external PR agencies). There are a few projects of various sizes/lengths/budgets/complexities that the Consultant will support, including the external and internal communication resulting from a recent significant business acquisition and the subsequent integration.
SWIM will provide qualified and interested candidates with a full job description.
 

Who- the Candidate:  

Candidates will have at least 5 years of relevant corporate communications experience, with a mix of internal and external comms (there is more emphasis on internal for this contract, but experience with media relations, PR, and social media is also very desirable).

We are looking for folks with some form of relevant education and qualifications, such as a degree in communications or marketing, a diploma in journalism, project management accreditation, etc.

Experience supporting Canada-wide communications is highly preferred- the more provinces and territories the better! As the company has operations in Quebec, French language skills are beneficial, but not at all mandatory.

Qualified candidates will be systems savvy, with experience using the full MS Office Suite, as well as communication templates, social media and media monitoring tools like Hootsuite, Talkwalker, Meltwater, Zoho, Templafy, Brandwatch, etc. An eye for graphic design is an asset but not required.

Ideally candidates for this role will have worked in/for a large and matrixed professional services organization with a diverse workforce based in dozens of Canadian offices, such as an accounting firm, a law firm, an engineering firm, a professional consulting firm, etc. It will also be viewed favourably if a candidate has worked in a communications consultancy firm or PR agency.
 

Where: 

Hybrid. This company has an office in downtown Toronto’s financial district, close to rapid transit. The Sr Comms Specialist will work from the office ~3 days a week and can work from home the other days. There are a few other offices in Greater Toronto that the consultant can work from. Candidates will the ideal qualifications and highly relevant work experience who live elsewhere in Canada (particularly Vancouver) may also be considered- but for now the strong preference is for this consultant to be Toronto-based.
 

How Much: 

Competitive hourly consulting rate, commensurate with relevant qualifications and depth of corporate communications work experience. Open to incorporated consultants or employees (on SWIM’s payroll). This is a newly created role. The new Director will lead a marketing team of 6+ people and will collaborate closely with the senior leadership team (including sales, operations, finance, etc.).
This is a very well-rounded and fulfilling role. The Director will develop and lead on the execution of marketing strategies, define initiatives for demand generation and oversee multi-channel demand generation campaigns, and collaborate with sales and product teams to align go-to-market plans. The Director and their team will strengthen veritree’s brand position in the market via PR and earned media, and the Director will be a key storyteller and ambassador at events and online for the company’s mission and value proposition.

Who- the Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have extensive marketing experience in the technology sector, with a proven track record of building demand generation and go-to-market teams, and aligning marketing strategies with sales objectives. Experience within venture-backed businesses is an asset.
We are looking for an individual with at least 10 years and ideally 12+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, including at least 4 years directly leading and mentoring a marketing team (minimum 3 direct reports, ideally 7+).
Marketing leadership experience in the technology sector is a requirement. Recent and relevant experience with a recurring revenue B2B SAAS model is highly preferred, almost required. The more variety in customer base the better- veritree sells to customers in financial services, retail, CPG, technology, natural resources, etc., in multiple countries.
Qualified candidates will have worked with past/current employers during significant periods of change and growth- i.e. exponential increase in revenues such as scaling up from $10M to $50M, working with a company during a significant acquisition, marketing for a company doing a new product roll-out or expanding into a new country or strategically exploring an entirely new customer vertical.
We are looking for someone who can concurrently MARKET and LEAD. We’re not looking for a lone wolf solo operator- this new Marketing Director needs to be someone who can take charge on a major marketing campaign in the same week that they are conducting 1x1s with their team, performance managing, conducting interviews, and training a new hire.

We’re looking for a Senior Analyst to join our client’s Enterprise Planning team on a 3-month contract, with the potential for extension. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-expectation environments and is skilled at operationalizing work, building content, and developing executive-level presentation materials.
This role is hands-on and content-focused, you’ll be deep in the work, creating slide decks, and translating complex concepts into polished, professional materials that are SLT and board-ready. You’ll need to be PowerPoint-savvy, with an eye for design and a strong grasp of how to visually communicate strategy, process steps, and organizational updates.
If you’ve been part of large-scale transformation or strategy efforts and are strong in content creation, process design, and visual storytelling, this could be a great fit.
 

Who- the Candidate: 

  • 2–3+ years of experience post-university in a corporate setting.
  • Background in high-exposure, high-accountability environments (e.g. consulting firms, large strategy or transformation teams).
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to quickly understand and represent business processes.
  • Experience working on strategic initiatives or enterprise-level programs, especially where updates are delivered to senior stakeholders.
  • Some familiarity with corporate financial concepts (e.g., funding processes, investment mechanisms, capex vs. opex) is a plus.

While this role isn’t heavily financial or Excel-based, an understanding of corporate terminology is important. The work is centered around transforming the enterprise planning process, mapping how strategic goals translate into annual planning. You'll help visualize changes from current state to future state processes, distilling this into clear headlines and concise bullets.
