6-month contract BA/PM role to assist a global enterprise organization through an RFP and implementation of a supply chain technology.

What & Why:
On behalf of our enterprise level organization, we are looking for a BA/PM to assist a logistics technology team as they look to grow and scale in 2024 by implementing new technology. The scope of work includes the initial RFP/procurement phase duties with vendor selection, through discovery, implementation, testing, go live and hypercare.  You will, with minimal direction, provide project manager duties such as managing timelines, risks, issues and supporting in the resolution of them.  You will also support with business process mapping and working with external vendors providing platform services, to ensure that the operations teams needs are being met. In this role, it is critical to have a background in supply chain, preferably with experience managing multiple vendor bids, LSPs and inbound shipment. They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have a hybrid work environment, 3 days a week in office.

You:
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

  • 3+ years as Systems or Business Analyst; 5+ years in IT; Experience in a retail environment is preferred.
  • Experience of working / implementing Freight sourcing, Freight Audit and pay
  • Able to provide detailed level business process flows and document as-is processes
  • Work with cross-functional teams to provide net new requirements based on business processes
  • Knowledge in supply chain systems and logistics concepts required
  • Knowledge of ERP and related systems is preferred.
  • Has a good understanding of software development practices and project life cycles.
