Very well-rounded, fulfilling, and busy corporate front desk and office facilities role with an extremely reputable global company. Headquartered in downtown Vancouver. Very competitive total compensation package, including great health benefits, a pension plan, and over 5 weeks paid vacation!
Who- the Company:
Our client is a high profile, well-established, and reputable global company. The company has a corporate culture which emphasizes learning & development, collaboration, teamwork, and high performance. The people at this company are very dedicated to their work and also know how to have fun. This organization truly values their employees and provides great perks that promote a healthy work life. One of SWIM’s favourite clients to work for!
What- the Role:
On behalf of our client, SWIM is seeking a new Corporate Office Administrator. This is a vitally important role for the company as the Administrator provides first impressions to visitors and is the key person who greets and helps out all employees. This is a very diverse role involving reception, managing incoming & outgoing mail and couriers, tracking and ordering office supplies, managing office equipment maintenance, ensuring kitchen cleanliness and inventory, preparing rooms for important meetings, booking meetings into a shared corporate calendar, liaising with property management and other office vendors, preparing and reconciling corporate credit card expense reports, contributing to office event planning, office-based health & safety protocols, etc.
This is an active role- the Administrator will often walk 10,000-plus steps in a single workday as they travel around the office getting a variety of tasks done. Although based at the front desk (especially during times when on-site meetings are booked with external parties), the company has a mobile phone that goes through to the general office line, so the Administrator can still take calls while multi-tasking on other things away from the front desk.
The Administrator will be working on an overall administrative team of 16 who work closely together and who back each other up during lunch breaks, sick days, vacation days, etc.
This company is known for providing new learning opportunities and long-term career growth over the years.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required in this role- particularly with Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, and Teams.
Candidates for this role must be comfortable with the physical aspects of the role- lots of walking around the large corporate office on a daily basis, plus occasionally climbing a ladder to get something in a high shelf, moving a heavy box, or crawling under a desk to plug in equipment.
Experience monitoring health & safety processes is beneficial in this role.
