Transformational Supply Chain Leader - Build, Fix, Improve, and Scale!
Are you a strategic supply chain leader ready to make a real impact? This role is ideal for someone with a builders mindset who thrives in complex manufacturing environments and enjoys leading change, scaling operations, and optimizing performance. A great opportunity to be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking leadership team, and to work in a high-growth global company.

Who – the Company:

Our client is a well-established and innovation-driven industrial company with decades of success in designing and delivering high-performance products used globally. Headquartered in the Lower Mainland, the company has built a reputation for quality, customer service, and engineering excellence. The workplace culture is professional yet down-to-earth, where continuous improvement and teamwork are highly valued. If you're a driven supply chain leader looking for meaningful work in a growing organization—this is the place for you.

What – the Role:

On behalf of our client, SWIM is seeking a new Global Supply Chain Manager who will take charge of all supply chain-related functions including procurement, warehousing, logistics, materials management, production planning, demand forecasting, and supplier relationships.
Leading a supply chain team of around 25 people (mix of direct reports and indirect reports, in a variety of functions including warehousing, materials, and procurement). Reporting into the General Manager.
This is not a “maintain-the-status-quo” role. The company is seeking someone who can build and improve systems, fix what’s not working, and scale operations for future growth. You'll be a key member of the leadership team, expected to bring a positive, proactive leadership presence and lead through change, driving performance, alignment, and results across departments.
SWIM will provide interested candidates with a thorough job description.

Who – the Candidate:

We’re looking for a supply chain leader with at least 8 years of progressive experience in supply chain for manufacturing environments and a proven track record of improving systems, processes, and teams. You’re someone who thrives in evolving environments and brings both strategic thinking and hands-on problem solving to the table.
You lead with confidence and clarity, especially during times of change or challenge. Your communication style is collaborative and motivating, and you're comfortable working with cross-functional teams from shop floor to executive level.
Bonus Points…

  • Professional qualifications and education such as…
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
    • Supply chain certifications (e.g. SCMP, CPIM, CSCP).
    • Lean Six Sigma training, ideally at or beyond Green Belt level.
    • Kaizen training.
  • Demonstrated experience driving lean initiatives and continuous improvement.
  • ERP systems experience (Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, or similar).
  • Background in engineer-to-order (ETO) manufacturing or complex assembly.
  • Experience leading change initiatives and navigating business transformation.
  • Experience in highly regulated or high-spec manufacturing environments.

How Much:

A competitive base salary commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications- the current range is set at $140,000 to $160,000. Additionally, the Supply Chain Manager will be eligible for a performance-based bonus, an RRSP match, extended health & dental benefits, paid vacation/sick time, and relevant professional development support. Please discuss your total compensation expectations in further detail with SWIM.

This is a full-time on-site leadership role. The office is based in the Fraser Valley. Great driving commute for someone living in Surrey, Newton, Langley, Murrayville, Aldergrove, Aberdeen, Bradner, Willoughby, Cloverdale, Campbell Heights, Walnut Grove, Willowbrook, Abbotsford, etc.
