Our client is seeking a new Senior Communications Specialist who will report into the Director, Communications and work closely with others on the global communications team. The Senior Comms Specialist will have a very diverse set of responsibilities including internal communications, content management, social media management, and intranet management. The Senior Comms Specialist will build business relationships with many internal and external stakeholders, as well as with service providers and consultants at agencies, web design firms, digital media firms, etc. This is a great role for someone who wants to get a holistic view within the very high-performance communications team of a successful and complex global company! Who- the Candidate:
We are seeking a self-motivated and passionate internal communications professional who is business-savvy, confident in their abilities, and who has a can-do approach to their work. Qualified candidates will have at least 7 years progressive experience in communication with a focus on internal communications (in-house, not agency). Experience working in fast-paced, complex, and matrixed corporation is preferred, and experience specifically within a global public company is a significant asset! Some form of post-secondary education pertaining to communications is required. Candidates must have excellent content creation and business writing skills.
Where:
Downtown Vancouver. Close to public transit and many amenities like restaurants and shops. Some work-from-home hybrid flexibility.
How Much:
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience and skills, likely in the range of $110,000 to $130,000.
