Corporate Tax Paralegal - Lower Mainland (On-Site)
This is an excellent opportunity for a Corporate Paralegal to join a reputable mid-sized law firm within a busy and collaborative practice group. The role provides exposure to corporate tax planning, reorganizations, and amalgamations, as well as the opportunity to work closely with a senior lawyer in a fast-paced but well-supported environment.

Our client is an established, full-service mid-sized law firm offering a wide range of legal services, including civil litigation, corporate services, labour and employment, family law, and estate planning. The firm is known for its strong reputation, thorough preparation, and client-focused results.
What- The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our client’s team, with on-site availability required five days per week at their offices in the Lower Mainland. Reporting to the Lawyer, the Paralegal will support the Lawyer in the following responsibilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with corporate reorganizations involving a variety of steps, including the preparation of documents and filings, closing agendas, and reporting packages; and
- Incorporations of BC and federal corporations; and
- Alterations to authorized share structures of BC and federal corporations; and
- Preparing documentation for tax-deferred rollover transactions involving share exchanges, real estate and business assets pursuant to sections 85, 86, 51 and other rollover provisions of the Income Tax Act (Canada); and
- Short-form and long-form amalgamations, wind-ups, and dissolutions; and
- Preparing and amending trusts, including family trusts, alter ego trusts and joint partner trusts, as required.
Who - The Candidate:
- Paralegal with a minimum of three years of experience in corporate law.
- Exposure to tax planning is considered an asset, but not required.
- Experience with corporate record management software such as ALF.
- Experience using BC Online and LTSA is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and able to work independently.
- A team player with a positive attitude and a reliable work ethic.
How Much:
Highly competitive compensation in the range of $70,000 – 100,000 CAD/ per year depending on experience and qualifications. The total compensation package includes:
