What & Why:
As a result of growth in the cybersecurity space, we are looking for an IAM Security Engineer to join our global enterprise client. This role will play a key role in maturing our client’s Identity and Access Management (IAM) program, with a focus on access governance, security hardening, and automation. This role involves designing and supporting identity integrations, privileged access controls, and cloud-based solutions, primarily in Azure. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the engineer will contribute across the full development lifecycle, support security and reliability goals, and help evolve IAM capabilities in a fast-paced, enterprise environment. A strong understanding of cloud technologies, access protocols (SAML, OIDC), and security best practices is essential.

They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have an in person work arrangement with 4 days a week in office.
You:
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:
- 4+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Security. Azure required (AWS a plus).
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn, understand, and work with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT space.
- Strong knowledge of Identity and Access Management/Security principles and best practices.
- Experience with task management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Background in developing solutions for retail or eCommerce businesses, with additional experience in related fields such as manufacturing and logistics, supply chain, or corporate shared services.
- Experience in Cloud Configuration and Technologies, including SAML, OIDC, Privileged Access Management (PAM/RBAC), Conditional Access, Azure Automation, Logic Apps, Group/User Management. (Cloud based Linux/Windows/ SQL Support a plus).
Compensation:
This role pays between $70-85 per hour.
