This role is responsible for designing and implementing scalable data solutions across cloud platforms including Azure and AWS, with a strong focus on Snowflake. The role involves developing and maintaining data pipelines, transforming and integrating complex datasets, and leading best practices around data engineering processes and documentation. As a subject matter expert, the individual will guide the team on technical solutions, perform DevOps tasks, and ensure smooth orchestration of data workflows, while also creating clear, comprehensive documentation and supporting knowledge transfer. You:
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:
- 5+ years experience as a data engineer.
- Hands-on expertise in Snowflake, including Snowpipe, advanced SQL, and end-to-end ETL processes.
- Proven experience developing and orchestrating data pipelines across Azure (ADF), AWS, and Snowflake.
- Familiarity with modern data tools such as Databricks, Kafka, API integrations, and APIgee.
- Strong documentation skills using tools like Confluence and draw.io, with a process-oriented mindset.
Compensation:
This role pays between $70-80 per hour.
