This is a 6-week contract to start (very quick start date), with good chance for context extension and possible chance for conversion to full-time employment if a great match on both sies.

What- the Role:
Our client is looking to hire a new Recruiter for a 6-week contract. Reporting into the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition and working on a robust TA team of 6+ and an overall People & Culture team of 40+ people. The Recruiter will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment for diverse searches across Western Canada and providing candidates and new employees with an excellent experience.
The Recruiter will post roles, screen resumes, source for candidates, conduct 1st stage interviews (phone and video), shortlist for the hiring team, and communicate with the candidate and hiring team right through to offer stage. This company puts a lot of emphasis on providing an excellent candidate experience.
The Recruiter will work alongside HR colleagues in learning & development, HRIS analysis, HR projects & operations, payroll & benefits, etc., and also collaborate with departments outside of HR.

Who- the Candidate:
We are looking for a recruitment professional with at least 18 months and ideally 2+ years of relevant and recent experience doing internal full-cycle recruitment.
- Foundational work experience and training in a recruitment agency training is beneficial, but not required.
- Experience with a high-growth company is a definite asset, particularly with a company growing through acquisitions and doing post-acquisition integration.
- Relationship building skills are crucial! Candidates will be strong at all facets of the recruitment life cycle- from qualifying the search with hiring managers to job posting to sourcing to screening & shortlisting to interviewing to offer & negotiation.
- In addition to excellent recruitment skills, we are seeking individuals who are down-to-earth, humble, assertive, knowledgeable, helpful, and curious. Great communication skills are crucial, as is a self-motivated work style and a team-player attitude.

How Much:
Hourly consulting rate commensurate with the hired individual’s recruitment experience and qualifications, likely in the range of $25 to $35 an hour, with a $28 to $30 an hour sweet spot.

Where:
HYBRID. The company is headquartered in Surrey, BC and the Recruiter will work from the beautiful head office 2 days a week. 3 days/week the Recruiter can work from home, as long as they have a professional at-home office set-up including reliable wifi.
