Senior Financial Transformation Analyst
This is an exciting role for a highly analytical, strategic finance professional to join a forward-thinking Finance team and help transform how financial insights are generated, delivered, and leveraged across the organization.
If you enjoy solving complex problems, thinking strategically, and applying AI and analytics to drive meaningful change, this role offers exposure to senior leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the chance to make a tangible impact on business decisions.

The Company:

Our client is a high-growth, globally recognized SaaS organization with a strong footprint across North America, Europe, and Latin America. Known for innovation, collaboration, and strategic thinking, they are scaling quickly and prioritizing finance modernization, analytics enablement, and AI-powered decision-making.
This is an environment where strategic finance professionals are empowered to influence the business, lead transformation initiatives, and bring their ideas to life.

The Role:

This is a hands-on, highly analytical role focused on finance transformation, strategic analysis, and analytics enablement. The Senior Financial Transformation Analyst will partner closely with Finance and cross-functional teams to modernize reporting, build analytical frameworks, and embed data-driven decision-making across the organization.
This is not a process-focused role – the ideal candidate will bring consulting experience, strategic thinking, and exposure to diverse setups, with the ability to shape the future of Finance and leverage AI effectively.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead finance transformation initiatives to enhance reporting, analytics, and decision-support processes.
  • Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and variance analysis to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Build advanced financial models using BI tools (Looker preferred; Domo acceptable) — focus on analysis and actionable insights, not dashboard creation.
  • Partner with Finance and business teams to define metrics, reporting standards, and insights that influence leadership decisions.
  • Identify inefficiencies in workflows and design scalable, sustainable solutions.
  • Translate complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Measure the impact of transformation initiatives to ensure tangible business value.
  • Identify opportunities for AI and automation to improve Finance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Support implementation of AI-powered tools for forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and financial close.
  • Generate insights using AI-enabled analysis, including performance trends, benchmarking, and identification of risks and cost drivers.

The Candidate:

You are a strategic, analytical finance professional who thrives in complex, fast-moving environments. You enjoy applying consulting principles to finance, driving transformation, and leveraging data to influence decisions.

What they’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, strategic finance, or finance transformation, ideally in SaaS/tech.
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills – focus on advanced formulas, not coding.
  • Hands-on experience with BI tools (Looker preferred; Domo acceptable) and ERP/financial planning systems.
  • Experience leading or supporting finance transformation, analytics modernization, or strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to simplify complex insights for a range of stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
  • Willingness to travel across the US/Canada for internal meetings.

How Much:

$111,400 – $131,000 USD (Bay Area: $127,200 – $149,700 USD) + Equity, depending on experience and qualifications.

The total compensation package includes:

  • Health & dental benefits.
  • RRSP match.
  • Unlimited PTO, with a minimum of 20 business days.
  • Flexible work arrangements.

Where:

Remote across the US.
