What- the Role:
We are seeking a new Senior Financial Analyst who will support the financial planning and execution of the Company’s global supply chain, analyzing for reliability, cost, efficiency, safety, and value.
Additionally, the Sr. Analyst will work closely on the annual budgeting process, take part in ad hoc strategic analysis, support business decision making, and design, implement, and analyze KPIs.

Who- the Candidate:
We are looking for Finance professionals who enjoy engaging and challenging work in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with high-performing professionals. Detail-orientation and an analytical mindset are paramount in this role, as is a calm, cool, and collected work style. Candidates must have experience in an operational business involving supply chain of a tangible product.
- Education & Qualifications-
- Relevant post-secondary degree is required (degree in finance, engineering, business, operations, etc.)
- Other qualifications such as MBA-Finance, CPA designation, or CFA certification are highly preferred.
- Work Experience-
- Experience working in a Financial Analyst role with large company, preferably global scope.
- Experience analyzing supply chain and/or logistics is preferred, but not required for someone eager to learn!
- At least 5 years’ relevant and progressive FP&A experience, including strategic business analysis, KPI creation, budget, forecasting, decision support, and contributing to presentations.
- Systems-
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (financial modeling) is required!
- Experience presenting analytical findings via presentations in PowerPoint.
- Experience using a sophisticated ERP is an asset.
- Experience using Demand and Supply Chain Planning Software is beneficial, not required.
- Global-
- Experience with a global finance portfolio is highly preferred…. the more countries the better, as this company has operations in North America, Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America, and Africa!
- Industry-
- Experience working in energy, natural resources, industrial, or transportation/shipping/logistics sectors is preferred.
- Experience working with a public company is an asset.
Where- Headquarters:
Downtown Vancouver. Hybrid. Close to public transit and many amenities like restaurants and shops. Once they are fully trained and onboarded, the Senior Analyst can choose to work from home up to 2 days a week.
How Much:
This company provides a very robust total compensation package. Competitive base salary commensurate with experience and skills, likely in the range of $108,000 to $120,000, possibly with a bit of wiggle room beyond that for someone who has very relevant work experience, skills, and qualifications.
