Controller, Record to Report
We are seeking a Controller, Record to Report to lead financial process standardization and optimization. This role is instrumental in ensuring efficient, compliant, and integrated processes that align with organizational goals, supporting transparency and regulatory compliance.

What- the Role:
Process Leadership
- Define, document, and standardize financial processes across the organization.
- Monitor process performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvements.
- Lead process optimization and ensure alignment with organizational objectives and strategic goals.
Governance and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, governance policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain robust process documentation and establish clear workflows and guidelines.
- Drive process standardization across operations, including training and change management.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with business owners and functional teams to integrate cross-functional processes.
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure seamless process adoption and minimize silos.
- Provide insights into process inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
Change and Risk Management
- Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Lead change initiatives to support process transformation and enhance outcomes.
Training and Development
- Train and educate teams on best practices, tools, and standards.
- Act as a key resource for process knowledge and improvement initiatives.
Who- the Candidate:
- CPA designation with 10+ years of post-designation experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or management information systems.
- Expertise in full-cycle accounting, IFRS, and financial reporting.
- Proven experience with SAP, specifically Record to Report (R2R).
- Strong understanding of finance master data and workflows.
- Skilled at leading process transformation and fostering continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships across global teams.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with experience working at an executive level.
How Much:
$160,000-$200,000 commensurate with experience + annual performance bonus, profit share plan, health + personal spending account, extended health, paid sick leave, vacation, holidays and many additional perks!
Where:
Vancouver, Hybrid work model with likelihood to be more onsite for high-volume project periods. Expect international travel to mine sites in North America and South America.
