6-month Project Manager contract opportunity building out supply chain technology solutions for a global brand with on site work in Vancouver

What & Why:

As a result of investment in technology our client is looking to add a Project Manager to their team. In this role you’ll lead large-scale, cross-functional technology projects within the Inbound Logistics and Trade team, driving delivery of complex initiatives across a matrixed, global organization. Working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, you’ll manage program roadmaps, budgets over $4M, and agile delivery teams, balancing business priorities with technical constraints while championing best practices and continuous improvement. This role demands strong communication, conflict resolution, stakeholder alignment skills, and the ability to juggle multiple projects while simplifying processes and eliminating bottlenecks.

They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have a hybrid work environment with 4 days a week in office.
 

You:

You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

• 8+ years in IT, with 2+ years specifically in program management.
• 7+ years in project management and/or business analyst roles.
• Proven experience managing budgets of $4M or more.
• Strong background in agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, sprint planning, backlog management, burndown metrics).
• Experience in trade and/or logistics will be prioritized.

Compensation:

This role pays between $90-100 per hour.
