Were looking for a Payroll & Benefits Analyst to support full-cycle payroll, benefits, and HRIS operations. Our client is open to considering candidates only seeking permanent employment or those immediately available to start for an initial 1–3 month temporary assignment.

What- the Role:
The Payroll & Benefits Analyst is a key member of the HR and Finance teams, responsible for accurate end-to-end payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS (Dayforce) operations across a global workforce. This role ensures compliance, supports financial reporting, and maintains smooth HR processes that align with organizational goals.
- Process and reconcile full-cycle payroll and benefits across multiple regions.
- Prepare journal entries and support month-end reporting in partnership with Finance.
- Manage statutory reporting, tax filings, and year-end requirements.
- Maintain and administer the HRIS (Dayforce), ensuring data integrity, system updates, and troubleshooting.
- Serve as the first point of contact for payroll, benefits, and HRIS inquiries.
- Prepare payroll, benefits, and workforce analytics reports to support decision-making.
- Support HR generalist tasks, including documentation and ad hoc projects.
Who – the Candidate:
- Certificate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, PCP, or a related field.
- CHRP or PCP certification is an asset.
- 2–5 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration.
- Strong experience with HRIS systems, preferably Dayforce or similar platforms.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, macros, pivot tables).
- Experience supporting change management or process improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to compensation, payroll, and HR practices.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
How Much:
For temp assignment: $28.13/hr – $34.38/hr + 4% vacation pay
For permanent role: $58,500 – $71,500
Where:
Port Coquitlam, BC, 5 days onsite.
