A great opportunity to be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking management team, and to work in a high-growth global company.

Who – the Company:

Our client is a well-established and innovation-driven industrial company with decades of success in designing and delivering high-performance products used globally. Headquartered in the Fraser Valley, the company has built a reputation for quality, customer service, and engineering excellence. The workplace culture is professional yet down-to-earth, where continuous improvement and teamwork are highly valued. If you’re a driven Warehousing & Materials professional looking for meaningful work in a growing organization—this is the place for you.

What – the Role:

On behalf of our client, SWIM is recruiting for a new Warehouse Supervisor who will take charge of all warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, inventory control, logistics, and stakeholder interaction.
Leading a warehousing team of around 20 people (mix of direct reports and indirect reports). Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager.
This is not a “maintain-the-status-quo” role. The company is seeking someone who can build and improve warehouse processes, fix what’s not working, and scale operations for future growth. You’ll be a key member of the management team. We are looking for someone with a positive and proactive leadership presence who can lead through change and drive results and performance across the warehouse function.
SWIM will provide interested candidates with a thorough job description.

Who – the Candidate:

We’re looking for a Warehouse Supervisor with at least 4 years of progressive experience in warehousing within manufacturing environments and a proven track record leading and mentoring a large team (15+ people). Qualified candidates will have excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Bonus Points…

  • Professional qualifications and education such as…
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field
    • Supply chain certifications (e.g. SCMP, CPIM, CSCP)
    • Lean Six Sigma training
    • Kaizen training
  • Demonstrated experience driving lean initiatives and continuous improvement.
  • ERP and MRP systems experience (Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, or similar)
  • Background in engineer-to-order (ETO) manufacturing or complex assembly
  • Experience leading change initiatives and navigating transformation of warehouse operations
  • Experience in highly regulated or high-spec manufacturing environments
  • Experience in a unionized work environment is preferred, not required.

How Much:

A competitive base salary commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications- the current range is set at $90,000 to $100,000. Additionally, the Warehouse Supervisor will be eligible for a small performance-based bonus, an RRSP match, extended health & dental benefits, paid vacation/sick time, and relevant professional development support. Please discuss your total compensation expectations in further detail with SWIM.

Where:

This is a full-time on-site supervisory role. The office is based in the Fraser Valley. Great driving commute for someone living in Surrey, Langley, Newton, Murrayville, Aldergrove, Aberdeen, Bradner, Willoughby, Cloverdale, Campbell Heights, Walnut Grove, Willowbrook, Abbotsford, etc.
