Accounts Receivable Manager
Great opportunity for an experienced AR Manager to join a very successful and well-established multi-national company in an exciting industry. This role appeals to a strong leader who is excited to sink their teeth into the role while leading, mentoring, and developing a team of four AR Administrators and working closely with finance and operations.
This role is a 14-month maternity leave cover.

What- the Role:

The Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for the management and administration of the AR team and its processes. This role requires communication with external customers and all areas of the business and is responsible for ensuring the Accounts Receivable Team provides excellent customer service to both external and internal customers. The Accounts Receivable Manager will oversee and be responsible for the efficient and accurate flow of data for all accounting transactions related to accounts receivable management as well the management of customer accounts to ensure the swift payment of all monies due to the company. The AR Manager will build a team of motivated, efficient, and productive employees and coordinate their efforts through strong leadership, coaching, and direction.
 

Who- the Candidate:

• University degree in business/accounting and/or a professional accounting designation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and strong business acumen, along with a good understanding of Finance.
• Strong leadership skills, communication and presentation skills with proven expertise developing and mentoring an AR team.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a management role.
• Strong knowledge of collection regulations and fair credit practices.
• Experience working in a multi-entity environment with foreign exchange.
• An understanding of full cycle accounting and the impact of Accounts Receivable on the other areas of Finance such as financial reporting and cash management.
• Strong systems skills are essential. Our client currently uses DTMS for AR and order management and recently implemented NetSuite as their ERP system in April. While DTMS will continue to be used for order intake and information flow, invoicing is now handled through NetSuite. Candidates with NetSuite experience are ideal.
• Superior attention to detail, analytical, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving skills are essential.

How Much:

$100,000 – $105,000 + $5000 completion bonus, 4 weeks of vacation, medical + dental coverage, transit pass.
 

Where:

Based in the company’s Vancouver head office. Hybrid working schedule of Mon-Tues-Wed in-office and Thurs-Fri remote.
