What- the Role:
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a new Senior Accountant to join their team at the corporate headquarters.  The Sr Accountant will report directly into the Supervisor, Accounting, and will work alongside several other Accountants at various levels of experience. This is a very well-rounded role involving financial reporting, month/quarter/year end closing, profit & loss analysis, variance analysis, transfer pricing, audit support, scenario analysis, etc. This role has a good mix of corporate accounting and operational accounting & analysis. Who- the Candidate:

We are looking for candidates who have  achieved their CPA designation in the last couple years and who enjoy engaging and challenging work in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with a close-knit team. Qualified candidates will have at least 5 years’ progressive accounting work experience. Exposure to a global and/or public company is a significant asset, but not required. Experience working in logistics or supply chain sector is also beneficial.  Experience using an ERP is beneficial, and proficiency in Excel is required. The new Senior Accountant will align well with the company’s core values of respect, trust, integrity, and professionalism.

Where: 

Headquartered in Downtown Vancouver. Close to public transit and many amenities like restaurants and shops. Once they’ve trained up, the Senior Accountant can work from home 1 or 2 days a week.  

How Much: 

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience and skills, in the range of $80,000 to $100,000. This company provides an excellent total compensation package including a very generous amount of paid time off (close to 5 weeks), a performance-based bonus, great health & dental benefits, etc.- please discuss further with SWIM.
