Accounts Receivable Administrator
Great Accounts Receivable opportunity with a fantastic company in Langley, BC. What- the Role:
Our client seeking a new Accounts Receivable Administrator. Reporting into a Supervisor and working alongside colleagues in Accounts Payable. This is a high-volume business-to-business AR role with exposure to projects. Using Excel and a sophisticated ERP system.
The AR Administrator will interact a great deal with internal colleagues who work in areas such as sales, customer success, project management, and field maintenance. They will prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits, reconcile the AR ledger, will resolve billing issues, will collaborate with internal departments to manage collections, etc.
Additionally, the AR Administrator will get to do some basic financial analysis type work, such as job costing, pricing, forecasting, and preparing reports and graphs illustrating AR statuses. SWIM will provide interested candidates with a thorough job description.
Who- the Candidate:
We are looking for an individual with at least 6 months to 1 year of full-cycle accounts receivable and collections experience.
Post-secondary education in accounting is highly preferred, but not required if someone has very relevant work experience. Long-term pursuit of CPA designation is an asset (and the company will financially support CPA courses) but NOT at all required.
Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, V look-ups, etc.) is required. Hands-on experience using a large ERP (Oracle, SAP, Dynamics, JD Edwards, etc.) is very beneficial. Any training related to continuous improvement (ISO, Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, etc.) will be viewed very favourably.
Candidates will have a friendly, clear, and professional communication style (written and verbal).
How Much:
Competitive base salary commensurate with level of skills, experience, and education- the range on base salary is $45,000 to $55,000. The company will provide their new AR Administrator with a solid overall compensation package, including an RRSP match, paid vacation and sick days, financial support for CPA, and solid health, dental, & vision benefits.
Where:
Langley, BC. Great commute for someone in Langley, Langley Township, Murrayville, Aldergrove, Aberdeen, Bradner, or perhaps Abbotsford. Full-time in office during training & onboarding. After that, the AR Administrator can choose to work from home 1 day a week.
