What- the Role:

The AR Administrator – Billing and Cash Application is responsible for ensuring the efficient, effective and accurate flow of data entry related duties in billing and posting accounts receivable payments. This includes posting of the daily invoices and uploading them into the customer portal where needed, credit notes and rebills, maintaining ledgers, credit balances, and resolving account irregularities.
Responsibilities:

  • Daily sales orders billing.
  • Post and reconcile payments to general ledgers.
  • Data entry accuracy, following the fixed schedules.
  • Review credit balances, refunds, and adjustments, and apply adjustments and/or corrections to corporate billing records.
  • Ensure all files are organized and maintained and all office processes are streamlined for most efficient and effective operation.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.
  • Comply with all rules and regulations, protocols and established metrics

 

Who- the Candidate:

  • Relevant post-secondary education, diploma or degree are an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ability to quickly learn new computer applications.
  • Knowledge of Epicor, DTMS, NetSuite or other relevant accounting and invoicing software is an asset.
  • Experience in gathering data and compiling the proper information.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting systems.
  • Strong concern for the accuracy and quality of work.
  • Needs to be responsible, accountable and dependable.
  • Organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
  • Ethics and Integrity.

 

How Much:

Base salary commensurate with level of experience in the range of $55-63K + completion bonus, 3 weeks’ vacation + benefits, free transit pass.
 

Where:

Based in the company’s Vancouver head office. Hybrid working schedule of MON-TUES-WED in-office and Thurs-Fri remote.
