Supporting an exciting payroll system implementation project for a successful and well-established company with operations across Canada and the US. In-office training in Vancouver, followed by opportunity to work from home 1 to 4 days a week after onboarding. This is a contract role, and a great opportunity for someone who is looking for direct payroll system project experience and/or who enjoys the flexibility of consulting. 

Who- the Company: 
Our client is a successful and innovative technology company headquartered in Vancouver with over 250 employees and customers around the globe. If you are a Payroll professional with at least 2 years of relevant work experience who is looking for work experience with a global company, this could be a great opportunity!

What- the Role:
Our client seeking a Payroll Administrator for a full-time contract of at least 3 months. Responsibilities include assisting with a new payroll system implementation, preparing payroll data, user testing, providing training to new users of the system, and supporting the payroll processing for semi-monthly payroll in Canada and the US. Using Ceridian Dayforce, Rise, and ADP Run, as well as Excel. SWIM will provide interested candidates with a thorough job description.

Who- the Candidate:
We are looking for an individual with at least 2 years of relevant payroll work experience. Experience using Ceridian and/or ADP and/or Rise is required. Payroll system implementation experience is preferred, but NOT required for a quick learner! We just need the person in this role to be organized and detail-oriented, and eager to support a project of this nature. Experience with Canadian payroll processing is required, experience with US payroll is an asset. Intermediate-level proficiency in Excel is required. PCP certification is preferred, not required. Candidates will have a friendly, clear, and professional communication style.

How Much:
Hourly consulting rate will be commensurate with level of payroll skills, experience, and education- likely in the range of $26 to $40 an hour. Please discuss your compensation expectations further with SWIM.

Where:
The company HQ is in Vancouver, within walking distance of a Canada Line Station. Full-time in office during the first weeks of training, and after that the Payroll Administrator can choose to work from home up to 4 days a week.  Work laptop will be provided.
