Who-the Candidate:
We are seeking an exceptional Vice President, People with a strong business sense! This is a diverse and inclusive role, we are looking for someone who enjoys a multi-faceted position. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in all things People. You are a creative thinker who understands the challenges of Talent Attraction and embraces them.
This role requires a mature and professional attitude, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. The incumbent must also have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships, be comfortable with changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure. The role requires a minimum fifteen years of relevant experience gained from a similar position and environment, ideally from a Real Estate or Construction background. Refined recruitment and talent management skills required. A thorough understanding of Canadian benefits and both federal and provincial laws and legislation required.
Advanced user of MS Office, specifically Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
What – the Opportunity:
As Vice President, People, and reporting to the Senior Vice President, People you will collaborate with all teams across all business units and cities. The VP, People will bring creative solutions to HR challenges, including recruiting, retention and onboarding. You will identify training opportunities, drive initiatives, be part of creative solutions to new and different HR practices. You will lead, mentor and grow the HR team. Develop, manage and improve compensation and benefits programs. You will build, strengthen and maintain relationships across all departments and cities so that team members feel valued, heard and listened to.
