6-month contract QA Lead role with a focus on Salesforce technologies

What & Why:
As a result of investment in technology, our client is looking to add a contract Salesforce QA Lead to their technology team.  You will be in a leadership role, overseeing the QA testers that work on the Salesforce projects.  You will monitor effectiveness, support needs, assist with development, and ensure that timesheets and schedules are accurate and correct. You should have a good understanding of risks and opportunities in Salesforce projects, as they relate to testing and quality.  You will also be executing testing within an Agile team that is responsible for making non-project changes related to Salesforce products. This could include upgrades, bug fixes, and change requests.

You will be working with an award-winning organization with a very strong brand reputation. They are all extremely passionate about what they do and this organization has a very strong tie to green initiatives. They are a local Vancouver organization that has expanded globally and is looking to continue their growth.  They have an office in North Vancouver and ideally you would be able to head into their office once in a while, although this role can be remote, in PST timezone hours.

You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

  • 5+ years experience with QA

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Agile methodology and IS concepts

  • Experience with developing and maintaining test plans and test scenarios

  • Strong experience executing tests, particularly on Salesforce products

  • Salesforce marking cloud experience

  • Salesforce Service Cloud experience

  • Experience with leadership and supervision

  • Experience coordinating project schedules, and releases

  • Understand how to identify, mitigate, and communicate both project and product risks.

  • Extensive experience writing and maintaining automation scripts
