What- the Role:
On behalf of our client, SWIM is seeking a new Communications Coordinator, ESG for the company’s environment, social, and governance responsibility team. This is a diverse role involving preparing internal & external communications, content management (corporate website, employee intranet, etc.), report writing and editing (including a quarterly ESG report released to the public), ESG ratings management, media monitoring, and some administrative support to the senior leaders in the department (i.e. travel coordination, expense reports).

Who- the Candidate:
This is a great role for a communications professional who is also passionate about corporate sustainability and responsibility. Ideally candidates will have worked for a company where ESG is at the forefront- for example, a company in a sector such as: industrial, construction, energy and natural resources, shipping & logistics, etc. Candidates will enjoy engaging and challenging work in a fast-paced environment and will thrive on collaborating with a close-knit team.

• Qualified candidates will have at least 3 years of work experience in a corporate work environment.  

• Post-secondary education is required, preferably related to communications, business, or other relevant area.  

• Exposure to a global and/or very large company is a significant asset.

• Report writing experience (ideally an ESG report released to the public)

• Intranet and corporate website content creation and content management experience.

• A genuine passion for ESG and the desire to work for a responsible corporation.

Where- Headquarters: 
Downtown Vancouver w. HYBRID. Close to public transit and many amenities like restaurants and shops. After onboarding and training, the Coordinator can start to work from home 2 days a week. There will be a set day of every work week when the whole ESG Communications & ESG team is working in the office together for collaboration and teambuilding.

How Much:
