Who- the Company:  
Our client is a well-established real estate company that has been developing high quality commercial and residential properties in Vancouver for over 50 years. They are a values-based and well-respected organization, with a collaborative culture and a tight-knit accounting & finance team.

What- the Role:
Our client is looking to hire a bright, results-oriented, and computer savvy Accounts Payable Clerk who will process AP and who will support the other Accounting Clerk who mostly takes care of accounts receivable. Responsibilities will also include journal entries, bank reconciliations, tax remittances, budgeting, general ledger reconciliation, and month-end support. This organization has a close-knit accounting & finance- this employee will report into the Accounting Manager and will collaborate with the property accountants, development accountants, and also get to interact closely with the VP Finance.

Who- the Candidate:
We are seeking individuals with at least 3 years’ of relevant accounts payable processing experience. Prior hands-on experience using Yardi financial system is preferred as is experience in the real estate sector- but neither are required. We are looking for candidates who are interested in the fascinating and ever-changing real estate sector. Good intermediate-level Excel skills are necessary in this role. Candidates will be bright and hardworking team players who are eager to learn and contribute. Post-secondary education related to accounting is preferred.  

Where:
Corporate office located in a bustling area of Vancouver, close to many amenities (restaurants, shops, etc.) and walking distance from various rapid transit options.

How Much:
Base salary will be commensurate with level of AP skills and experience, and there is long-term opportunity for growth based on performance. Please discuss further with SWIM. This is a permanent employee role, and can be either full-time OR part-time (3 or 4 days a week, with pro-rated salary).
