Our client is a large, successful, values-based, and well-established company with a global brand.  They have a consulting opportunity for a talented compensation analyst who loves to build, create, clean-up, and improve compensation structures. WORK REMOTELY FROM ANYWHERE in CANADA.

Who- the Company:
Our client is one of the largest in their niche industry and has operations and customers in almost every country in the world, with major offices in large cities in North America, Europe, and Asia. They have a household name and are in a fascinating business that almost anyone can appreciate and relate to.

What- the Role:
The Senior Director of Global Total Rewards is looking for a Compensation Analyst for a contract with an initial term of 6 months and opportunity to extend based on work need and performance. Consultant must be able to work Monday to Friday during regular work hours- on any time zone across Canada. Minimum 20 hours a week, ideally 30 to 35 hours.

The Compensation Analyst will be benchmarking using Willis Towers Watson and Radford compensation surveys, levelling roles, running data, creating ranges, revamping sales compensation structures, etc. The employee population is globally diverse and mostly salaried. Most of the analysis will be done in Excel, and the company also has a top-tier HRIS (Workday) and other tools and resources. One of the projects will involve analyzing Quebec Pay Equity.

Who- the Candidate:
We are looking for a self-motivated and autonomous Compensation Analyst with at least 3 years’ relevant and recent experience and strong Excel-based analytical skills. Hands-on experience using a sophisticated HRIS is preferred. Experience conducting compensation analysis for a diverse employee population of 1000+ is preferred. Ideally candidates will have undertaken analysis of compensation for entry-level employees right on up to executives, in all corporate functions. Experience with commission compensation is an asset.  In addition to excellent technical and analytical skills, we are seeking individuals who are down-to-earth, humble, assertive, knowledgeable, helpful, reliable, and curious. Great communication skills are crucial (French language skills are a plus!), as is a self-motivated work style and a team-player attitude. Our client is a very values-based company that seeks out employees who embody their principles of honesty, inclusivity, compassion, collaboration, commitment, and customer service.

How Much:
Competitive hourly consulting rate commensurate with the hired consultant’s experience, skills, and qualifications. Please discuss further with SWIM— we know comp analysts are happy to talk about compensation!
