6-month contract Business Analyst roles focused on the HRIS workstream of a global enterprise organization.

What & Why:

Our client has made a major shift in how they deliver people solutions to their workforce and as such are looking to add multiple BAs to their team to help with the transition to their new operating model. There is a large amount of upstream work that needs to be analyzed, managed and synthesized so that the proper operating model and data flow can be built.  These roles will be responsible for extensive process mapping in Visio and should have a level of understanding of how HR functions operate so that they can speak their language. The intention is that there is a BA working with each one of the employee experiences in the new product centric organization, you will be working with Digital and Technology teams to design/configure solutions.  You will be utilizing and developing artifacts such as business requirements documentation, JIRA, and Confluence to facilitate requirements alignment sessions, develop test scripts, and document requirements for SOX auditing. This is an exciting time to join as this team is in hyper-growth mode.

They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver.  This role can be fully remote if you prefer, but you will need to accommodate PST hours.

You:

You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

  • 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst with particular expertise in business process mapping
  • Previous experience working with HRIS projects and/or HR business users
  • Experience process mapping utilizing Visio
  • Demonstrated experience with business and functional requirement gathering for small – medium complex scope, compiling needs from multiple stakeholders into a single set of prioritized requirements
  • Experience identifying business processes, documenting their workflow in process maps which reflect the relationship between the operating model and the technology platforms, and identifying roles within these processes
  • Experience assessing configuration options to meet requirements and specifications
  • Experience evaluating current business processes, workflows, and roadmaps to have comprehensive understanding of current state and ideal future state
