Excellent opportunity for an experienced EA to join a very successful, well-established Canadian company that is growing extremely quickly- both organically and through acquisitions.
This position will directly support 3 VP’s, 2 based in Vancouver and 1 in Toronto. This role offers a great work life balance with a 35-hour work week.

Who- the Company:

Our client was established decades ago and has evolved to become one of the largest in their industry in Canada. The company has been growing by leaps and bounds- both organically and via acquisitions.   Many of their employees have been with the company for 10 years or more, which speaks volumes about the organization’s values and commitment to their people and their customers.  In the last couple years, the organization has undertaken major business and digital transformations.
The company has been hiring very impressive leadership, and it’s a very well-respected and well-managed business in a backbone industry that is relatively recession-proof (for example, no lay-offs occurred due to the pandemic). This company already has a strong employment brand that is building momentum across Canada.

What- the Role:

This is a very well-rounded Executive Assistant opportunity spanning a variety of areas such as complex calendar management, in-person and video meeting scheduling, travel coordination, email organizing, event planning, document creation, internal & external communications.

Who- the Candidate:

We are looking for a highly organized and friendly individual with an outgoing demeanour who is values-based and is a humble team player with great written and verbal communication skills.
Qualified candidates will have at least 3-5 years’ relevant experience directly supporting busy executives in very fast-paced business environments. The new EA will be someone who takes the time to get to know the ins & outs of the company’s complex, interesting, and high-growth business operations.

How Much:

Highly competitive base salary commensurate with calibre of EA experience and skills- please discuss further with SWIM! Total compensation package includes health & dental benefits, RRSP match, free gym, 35-hour work week and free parking or transit pass equivalent.

Where:

Due to their continued growth, our client recently moved into a brand-new HQ very close to Surrey Central SkyTrain station. The brand-new building has secure parking, a gym, lockers, showers, bike storage, etc. and lots of retail/food services on the ground floor.
Training will take place entirely at the office, and the EA will be working from the office on days when the CEO is working from the HQ. This role offers a ton of flexibility, you will be working with 2 other EA’s who support different people and you can all work together on a hybrid schedule.
Ideally 3-4 days in the office at the start and when the CEO is not in the office you can totally work from home.
The company’s Vancouver head office is easily accessible by car, bike, and rapid transit.

When & How to Apply:

If you are interested in this opportunity to work with a successful and reputable Vancouver company in a fast-paced sector, please do not hesitate to apply soon as this search is moving quickly.
SWIM is presenting short-listed EA candidate profiles directly to the hiring team for review. Please note SWIM is very discreet and careful with the candidacy of currently employed and confidential job seekers. Thank you!
