6-month contract Project Manager role with a global enterprise organization.

What & Why:
Our client has major projects kicking off and is looking to add a Project Manager to their team to lead projects within the larger program.  You should have experience with custom development SDLC projects as well as COTS implementations and would be ideal if you had vendor management experience. Ideally you come from an engineering background and have a strength in dealing with highly technical projects with a heavy data component.  This project is very fast paced and will require someone with excellent communication and organizational skills as it can be quite ambiguous at times. This program is very high profile and there is definite room for advancement within the organization.  They have a cloud first technology strategy so it’s a great opportunity to grow your knowledge base within the cloud space.

They have invested majorly in technology and have had an incredibly successful past few years, including a major strategic acquisition. They have an all-star leadership team who keeps you accountable and provides support while still affording you tremendous autonomy. They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have a hybrid work model, with the occasional on-site required.

You:
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

  • 5+ years in technology.

  • 3+ years of project management or scrum master experience.

  • 2+ years in data analytics & reporting team management.

  • Strong data analytics and reporting background: Snowflake and PowerBI preferred.

  • Strong retail experience with knowledge in enterprise systems.

  • Proven experience with managing global teams with DevOps practices.

  • Experience in agile/enterprise tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, Zoom, MS Teams.

  • Experience in enterprise-scale Big Data analysis; PL/SQL experience required.

  • Preferred Scrum Master certification.
