A dynamic, reputable, and professional organization is seeking a Human Resources and Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team. This is a fantastic role that will lead the full cycle recruitment for the organization as well as lead the Human Resources Administration and projects.

 Who- the company:
Our client is a global online printing company with offices in Vancouver and Toronto Canada. They have the highest quality of printing and customer services available to their customers. They have a great office in Mount Pleasant, Vancouver, and constantly seeks to employ and nurture employees to match their long-term professional growth.

What- the role:
This is a full-time, permanent Human Resources and Talent Acquisition position. The role will be 75% full-cycle recruitment and 25% HR Administration. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and maintenance of HR policies, programs, and services. This candidate will also be working with external HR consultants to ensure that HR programs are implemented effectively and efficiently to attract, retain, motivate, and engage employees. Additionally, they will be sourcing, attracting, and interviewing prospective employees to find the perfect match. Other responsibilities include:

  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are implemented consistently company wide.

  • Attain employee satisfaction rating of 60% to 80% for the company.

  • Ensure employee training and development is carried out company wide so that employees develop competence in their roles and have a career path for future roles.

  • Responsible for assisting in implementing HR strategic planning.

  • Ensure HR initiatives are in line with the company’s goals and objectives.

  • Responsible for full-cycle recruitment: posting jobs, ensuring job descriptions are up to date, pre-screening candidates, interviewing candidates, conducting reference and background checks as required, preparing offer letters, maintaining recruitment records, etc.

  • Responsible for coordinating new hire Onboarding procedures.

  • Source training programs and courses relevant to employee development plans.

  • Coordinate employee training initiatives.

  • Coordinate company’s performance management process.

  • Developing employee rewards, recognition, and retention strategies.

  • Act as an internal contact for employees when they have problems or concerns.

  • Coordinate record-keeping activities with Payroll & Benefits Administrator

  • Ad-hoc HR tasks and projects as required.

Who- the candidate:
We are looking for an adaptable, result-oriented, and professional candidate with exceptional communication skills and positive attitude. Qualifications listed below:

  • A relevant degree with a major in Human Resources or Business Administration.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR Administrator or Coordinator capacity.

  • 2+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience is key.

  • CPHR designated or candidate preferred.

  • Working knowledge of applicable legislation, standards, HR trends, and best practices

  • Proficiency in MS Office required

How much- the pay:
