Amazing opportunity for a Facilities Coordinator with one year of facilities maintenance experience in a retail environment. This is a 3-month contract role, and our client works a hybrid model of three days in office, two remote.

What- The Role:
This is a fabulous opportunity for a highly motivated and customer-focused Facilities Coordinator. The Facilities Coordinator will be responsible for the efficient execution of emergency and non-emergency repairs and service calls within established budgets and timeline. Other duties involved in the role may include but not be limited to: Processing of invoices related to Facilities work and utility accounts, supporting stores and company departments in finding solutions to issues or information required by providing direction, various other duties that may arise. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Manage all work order requests during business hours (8am - 4:30pm)

  • Attend regular meetings with internal and external parters, prepared to share information and provide feedback

  • Respond to all maintenance questions from stores

  • Ensure repair timelines are met

  • Execute store maintenance programs per established frequencies and scopes of work

  • Receive, process and approve maintenance and utility invoices

  • Investigate and solve utility account discrepancies

  • Manage asset information for renovated and relocated locations

  • Receive and coordinate all one-year warranty repairs with applicable vendors

  • Research and enroll each store in all scheduled maintenance programs

  • Maintain accurate and up to date records for all assets and location details

  • Identify and establish all applicable utility accounts

  • Coordinate installation of security systems

Who- the Candidate: 

  • Minimum 1 year experience in facilities maintenance

  • Strong mechanical aptitude

  • Working knowledge of retail environment

  • Versatile with capacity and capabilities to manage multiple projects

  • Proficient in MS Office and Excel

  • Highly motivated, detail oriented, and dependable

  • Open to learning and accessible to all levels of the organization

  • Possess organizational, time management, and trouble-shooting competence

  • Excellent team player, and capability to work independently

  • Superb communication skills – verbal and written

  • Proactive and solution oriented
