What- the Role:
Our client is seeking a new Team Administrator who will support the Managing Partner, Managing Directors, and other leaders of the firm.
The Team Administrator will take on a variety of tasks including calendar management, scheduling and preparing for business meetings, expense reports, deal administration and booking deals in the investor database, coordinating business travel, filing bank statements and other documents, formatting and finalizing documents and reports, etc. The Administrator will also act as “back-up” to the Administrative Assistant/Receptionist when needed.
For a strong performer, there is good opportunity for career development and the hiring team is looking for a high-potential Administrator who can grow with the organization over the years into an Executive Assistant capacity.
Who- the Candidate:
We are seeking people who are professional, self-motivated, friendly, reliable, organized, and efficient, with the ability to learn quickly and the willingness to seek out process improvements in their administrative tasks. Qualified candidates will have the confidence, poise, and polish to be able to interact internally with senior executives and externally with high profile investors and other stakeholders.
At least 1 year of relevant experience in a similar administrative capacity in a corporate work environment.
Relevant post-secondary education is preferred but not required.
Detail-oriented, organized, professional, and efficient.
Experience working in a similar role within a venture capital, private equity, financial services, investor relations, wealth management, or real estate investment trust firm is an asset, but NOT required! Most important is a genuine interest in what the firm does and the willingness to learn the complexities of the business from an administrative perspective.
Excellent communication skills (written and spoken).
Systems savvy, particularly within Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, etc.). Ability to learn new technologies and software (for example, an investor database).
Career aspirations to develop into an Executive Assistant role in future.
