What- the Role:
On behalf of our Client, SWIM is recruiting for a new Inventory Clerk who will work on the overall Operations team and support both the Manager of Inventory and the Manager of Purchasing. This is a newly created position due to increasing work volume and business needs.
Responsibilities in this role are diverse and will include processing and tracking inventory counts, forecasting inventory needs, tracking and recommending new stock ordering, managing inventory transfers, and conducting inventory reconciliations according to inventory schedules with tight deadlines. To a lesser extent the Inventory Clerk will also be reviewing freight & brokerage expenses, liaising internally with the sales team and the service team, advising on product labelling requirements, following-up on purchase orders, etc.

Who- the Candidate:
We’re seeking up & coming professionals who are reliable, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to produce good quality work. Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of relevant work experience in inventory. Some work experience in purchasing is preferred, but not required. Good computer systems skills are important (the Clerk will use Microsoft Office as well as an ERP for inventory tracking). Qualified candidates will have great communication skills (verbal and written) and a collaborative approach to work.

How Much:
Base salary commensurate with level of education and relevant work experience- please discuss further with SWIM.

The Inventory Clerk will be based out of the Company’s corporate headquarters in Burnaby, BC. The office has a gym, showers, and bike lockers. Free employee parking.
