This is a fantastic career opportunity for someone who wants to work for a dynamic company with ambitious growth plans. Opportunity to build out an accounting & finance function here in Vancouver, and to develop over the years.

Who – the Company:

Our client is a successful and innovative company working in a very interesting industry at the intersection of energy and technology. The North American head office is located in Vancouver and the global headquarters is based overseas.

What - the Role:

On behalf of our client, SWIM is searching for a self-motivated, intelligent, adaptable, and dynamic Finance Manager who will take on a wide array of accounting and finance responsibilities and projects. The new Finance Manager will spearhead month-end closing procedures in Canada and the US, generate budget-to-actual reports, participate in audits and tax work, prepare financial reporting (IFRS), ensure SOX compliance and drive the implementation of process improvements and system enhancements.

As this hire represents the first employee on the North American accounting and finance team, the Finance Manager will initially be quite hands-on, including taking on accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll processing oversight.
