What- the Role:
Our Client seeking a new Senior Tax Analyst. Reporting into a fantastic Manager (placed by SWIM, trained at Big 4) and working alongside a Tax Analyst. This role involves both tax compliance and tax planning, for US and Canadian business operations. If well-suited to the Senior Analysts skills and passions, the role can also involve special projects related to tax and transfer pricing. Using Excel, a sophisticated ERP financial system, a reporting tool, and tax software. SWIM will provide interested candidates with a more detailed job description.
Who- the Candidate:
- CPA designation is required- Canadian CPA and/or US CPA.
- Canadian and/or US corporate taxation skills- experience with both is highly preferred!
- 3+ years progressive work experience in accounting & tax.
- Public practice training, from a midsize firm or large firm.
- Pursuit of the in-depth tax program is preferred, but not required.
- Hands-on process improvement and change management skills.
- Collaborative team player who can build symbiotic relationships with colleagues at all levels and across all departments.
How Much:
Base salary will depend on level of skills, relevant work experience, and credentials/post-secondary education, likely in the range of $90,000 to $106,000. The company will provide their new Senior Tax Analyst with a solid overall compensation package, including a generous profit-sharing/bonus program, an RSRP match, PD support, and excellent health, dental, & vision benefits. Where:
Ideally the Senior Tax Analyst will live in Greater Vancouver, with ability to work from the downtown office 2-3 days a week. That said, we are also open to very qualified candidates living elsewhere in BC or in Alberta (working on PST hours), with visits at least once a quarter to the HQ.
