Our client is a diverse, family-owned group of companies based in Vancouver, with operating businesses in real estate, aviation, and specialized tourism. This position is part of the Head Office team which provides centralized administrative functions to all the Group entities.
What- the Role:
Junior Accountant, reporting to the Director of Finance. The accountant will be responsible for full-cycle accounting. Additionally, the new accountant can learn, grow, and take on other exciting accounting duties over time. Please find a job description attached.

Managing their creditor lifecycle from start to finish – reviewing applications, performing credit checks, processing billing, and following up with collections.

Manage the AR cycle – Process Client billings, record receipts & provide monthly statements to their clients.

AR Collections – Communicating with clients in a professional but persistent manner that ensures our AR turnover meets our goals.

Assisting the Controller with Month-End & Quarter-End processes.

Completing monthly Visa reconciliations for approximately 65 corporate credit cards.

Accounts payable, bank reconciliations, journal entries.
