What- the Role:
On behalf of our client, SWIM is seeking a new Accountant. The Accountant will report directly into the Supervisor, Accounting, and will work alongside several other Accounting Assistants and Accountants at various levels of experience. This is a well-rounded role involving financial reporting, month/quarter/year end closing, processing accounts receivable, posting journal entries, cashflow reporting, balance sheet reconciliation, variance analysis, audit support, etc. Swim Recruiting will provide interested candidates with a detailed job description.
Who- the Candidate:

Qualified candidates will have at least 3 years’ accounting work experience, in a similar role or perhaps in a more specialized area such as accounts receivable or accounts payable.

Relevant post-secondary education in accounting is required. Pursuit of CPA is preferred, but not required.

Exposure to a global and/or public company is a significant asset.

Experience using an ERP financial system is beneficial (such as Oracle, SAP, Dynamics, JD Edwards, etc.), and intermediate-level proficiency in Excel is required.
Where- Headquarters:
Downtown Vancouver w. HYBRID flexibility. Close to public transit and many amenities like restaurants and shops. After onboarding and training, the Accountant can start to work from home 2 days a week. There will be a set day of every work week when the whole Accounting team is working in the office together for collaboration and teambuilding.
How Much:
