Our client, a provincial government organization, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex enterprise IT initiatives across business systems, infrastructure, and cloud environments. This role focuses on end-to-end delivery, including planning, execution, governance, and stakeholder, vendor, and financial management. You will work closely with executive sponsors, cross-functional teams, and external partners to align priorities and deliver high-impact projects within a structured, high-governance environment.

Our client is a provincial government organization, with this role supporting a centralized IT delivery function responsible for enterprise-wide initiatives across ministries. The team delivers large-scale transformation programs, including system implementations, cloud migrations, and integration efforts that support critical public services, within a collaborative and highly governed environment that emphasizes structured delivery, accountability, and measurable outcomes.

You:

You are a senior Project Manager with a proven track record delivering large, complex IT projects in government or comparable enterprise environments. You are comfortable operating in structured, high-governance settings and bring strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills to drive alignment and outcomes across complex initiatives.
Critical experience requirements include:

• Proven experience as an accountable PM delivering large-scale IT projects end-to-end, with ownership of scope, schedule, budget, and outcomes across complex, multi-stakeholder environments involving business, IT, and external vendors.
• Demonstrated experience delivering IT projects in public sector or similarly structured environments, operating within formal governance frameworks, including executive steering committees, structured reporting, and effective risk and issue escalation.
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management experience, including managing complex stakeholder environments, resolving conflicting priorities, and coordinating delivery across multiple contributors and external partners.
• Experience delivering system integration and/or cloud-based projects (SaaS, migration, or cloud-native), with clear accountability for delivery outcomes.
• Strong financial and delivery management capability, including budgeting, forecasting, and managing scope, schedule, and cost changes.
• Experience developing and maintaining structured project artifacts (e.g., project plans, RAID logs, status reports, dashboards) and delivering projects using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
• Strong leadership, communication, and facilitation skills, including leading workshops, presentations, and cross-functional teams, with experience integrating organizational change management practices into IT delivery.

Nice to have:

• Experience working within government or public sector environments, particularly at the provincial level or within comparable large, structured organizations.
• Experience supporting enterprise transformation initiatives spanning multiple ministries, departments, or business units.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, enterprise systems, or large-scale IT modernization program.

Compensation:

This role pays between $110-120 per hour.
