What & Why:

As a result of investment in technology and process, we are looking to add a Senior Tech Program Manager to our clients Infrastructure and Platform team. You’ll sit at the intersection of technology strategy and execution, overseeing complex, enterprise-wide programs from planning through delivery while driving alignment across Engineering, Product, Architecture, and senior leadership.  The core work involves developing and managing program roadmaps, overseeing portfolio financials in the range of $5M to $10M+, managing risks and dependencies across large-scale multi-region initiatives, and defining the processes and KPIs that drive operational excellence and continuous improvement. While this is an individual contributor role, it requires strong leadership through influence across multiple cross-functional teams.

They have an all-star leadership team who keeps you accountable and provides support while still affording you tremendous autonomy. They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have a primarily on site work environment, 4 days in office.  
 

You:

You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

• 7+ years of experience in information technology, system engineering, or technical program management, with 5+ years working in agile environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing large financial portfolios of $5M to $10M or more, with accountability for program spend and strategic alignment.
• Proven ability to manage complex technology portfolios using multiple delivery methodologies including waterfall, agile, and Kanban.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and the ability to develop long-term technical execution strategies in partnership with senior leadership.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights and facilitate decision-making at the executive level.

Compensation:

This role pays between $100-115 per hour.
