What & Why:
Due to growth our client is looking to add a mid-level CMDB Administrator to their Service Excellence team. In this role you’ll be responsible for administering and continuously improving the Configuration Management Database within the ServiceNow platform. The team supports their Technology and Enterprise business functions across multiple ServiceNow modules, and this role sits at the core of ensuring accurate, trusted asset and configuration data across the organization. The core technical work involves managing CI lifecycle processes, maintaining data integrity through discovery and integration sources, monitoring CMDB health, and enforcing governance standards across ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, and IRM functions. The role also supports Hardware Asset Management alignment and contributes to audits, compliance efforts, and ongoing platform improvements.

They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have a primarily in office environment with 4 days a week on site.
You:
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:
- 4+ years of hands-on ServiceNow administration experience with direct involvement in CMDB configuration, operations, and CI lifecycle management.
- Solid understanding of CMDB concepts including CI relationships, data normalization, and identification and reconciliation rules.
- Experience supporting CMDB data population through ServiceNow Discovery and third-party integrations.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required, with CIS certifications in Discovery, Service Mapping, or ITOM preferred.
- Strong documentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain CMDB concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Compensation:
This role pays between $65-70 per hour.
