What & Why:
As a result of new projects our client is looking to add a contract full stack engineer to their growing team. This role is focused on building the systems that power A/B testing, targeted content, and personalized guest experiences across their digital platforms. Core technical work spans React/Next.js frontend development, AWS-based backend services, and experimentation tooling via the Kameleoon platform, with additional touchpoints in analytics pipelines and observability. Beyond coding, the role involves contributing to technical design, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with cross-functional partners across Product, Data Science, and Experience Design. You should 4 to 8 years of full stack development experience with a strong foundation in code quality, testing, and scalable system design.

They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have a hybrid work environment, 4 days a week in office.
You:
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:
- 4-8 years of full stack software development experience designing and delivering scalable systems end-to-end.
- Proficiency in React and Next.js, including familiarity with micro-frontend architecture and patterns.
- Hands-on experience with A/B testing or personalization platforms, such as Kameleoon, including experiment instrumentation.
- Experience with cloud-native development and AWS services, including Lambda, S3, and API management.
- Understanding of clickstream analytics, event-driven data pipelines, and SQL/Snowflake, with familiarity in CI/CD and observability tools such as Datadog.
Compensation:
This role pays between $75-90 per hour.
