6-month contract AI Automation Specialist, working on enterprise AI initiatives for a global retail organization with an on site work environment.
 

  • 6-month contract Senior AI Automation Specialist role.
  • Growing AI delivery team.
  • Primarily on-site work available in downtown Vancouver, 4 days a week in office.

 

What & Why:

As a result of growth within their automation team, our client is looking to add a Senior AI Automation Specialist to their team. This role is focused on building out the enterprise agentic AI systems.  In this role you will be a key driver of this evolution: leading the identification and assessment of automation opportunities, owning the business case and design, and building or directing the delivery of solutions across our AI and automation stack. This role spans multiple departments and requires someone who is equally comfortable in a discovery workshop and a development environment.  You’ll own the full lifecycle from process assessment and ROI analysis through to build and deployment across platforms like Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and UiPath. The team works across merchandising, supply chain, fraud, and other enterprise functions, and this person will be expected to mentor traditional BAs and bring a prototype-first, solution-oriented approach to the work.  We are looking for someone who has Agentic AI experience

They have invested majorly in technology and have had an incredibly successful past few years, including a major strategic acquisition. They have an all-star leadership team who keeps you accountable and provides support while still affording you tremendous autonomy. They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and this role will be primarily on site, 4 days a week in an office.
 

You:

You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

  • 5+ years in business analysis or automation, including 2+ years delivering AI or agentic automation solutions.
  • Hands-on build experience with at least two of: Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, UiPath, n8n, or a comparable platform.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, connector-based integrations, and system prompt / agent configuration.
  • ROI-focused analytical mindset; able to assess whether automation is the right solution, build the business case, and move to prototype quickly.

 

Compensation:

This role pays between $65-75 per hour.
