What & Why:
Our client, a provincial public sector organization, is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a complex Student Information System (SIS) replacement program across multiple institutions. The program involves replacing a shared legacy SIS with a modern SaaS-based platform and coordinating implementation across several stakeholders and delivery partners. This role focuses on overall program leadership, including planning, stakeholder coordination, vendor and Statement of Work management, governance, risk management, financial oversight, and delivery readiness. You will work across organizations to align priorities, manage dependencies, and ensure successful execution of the implementation, including readiness for go-live and transition from legacy systems.

You:
You are a senior Program Manager with experience leading large, complex, multi-stakeholder transformation programs. You are comfortable operating across strategy and delivery, and can effectively manage vendors, stakeholders, risks, and program finances while driving outcomes.
You bring strong experience navigating complex environments and can clearly demonstrate your impact across programs with well-defined timelines and outcomes.
Critical experience requirements include:
- Proven experience leading large, multi-year, multi-organization programs.
- Strong stakeholder management across multiple organizations, vendors, and partners.
- Experience managing vendors, contracts, Statements of Work, scope, deliverables, and milestones.
- Strong governance, risk, issue, escalation, and reporting experience
- Experience delivering major IT implementations, including legacy system replacements and SaaS platforms.
- Strong understanding of data migration, system integration, and transition from legacy systems.
- Experience managing program budgets, financial controls, and milestone-based funding.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Student Information System (SIS) implementations or replacements.
- Experience working within post-secondary or education sector environments.
- Experience working with provincial public sector organizations or government stakeholders.
- Familiarity with multi-institution or shared-service delivery models
- Experience working on large-scale transformation programs involving multiple funding partners.
Compensation:
This role pays between $105-125 per hour.
